Pic from Van Gogh Cafe tonight. Its becoming one of my favourite bars here in Milan so you'll see more of it.

Today we decided that we gonna go away Friday - Saturday, but we don't know where... The sea side? Gardaland? Miralandia? Or maybe go to a city like Venice or something...? Donno. Tomorrow we need to book anyway...

Now I gonna study one hour before going to bed. Tomorrow morning I need to be at work early...

Sharing one of my favourite songs in these days. Most Italian guys will die when I say that as they hate this song but I love it!!! Listen to it, it's so sweet.

Van Gogh Café

Yesterday I went for aperitivo at Van Gogh Café, a very artistic and trendy bar close to Sampione Park. I've been recommended the place many times but never been there before, but we immediately liked the place.

Not only that the place was nice and the food was good, the cocktails were amazing. I ordered a un-alcoholic cocktail (as always) made with fresh melon, watermelon, mango, peaches, lemons and forest fruits mixed together with some ice in a mixer. It was soooooo nice!!! And their cocktails were gigantic, look at it, it's bigger than me :)

A night @ Rosa

Today passed to quickly... I worked 9-18, 9 long hours but it felt like 3. I worked with a girl from Sephora that's working with us this week, very nice girl. We sold almost nothing and Rinascente was kind of empty but in some kind of way the days flew away...

After work I met Johanna and Samuel and we went out shopping and searching for a present to Francesca - as thanks for borrowing her room. As it was far to hard to find clothes when we neither new what she likes or her size we ended up in Rinascente sponsoring my neighbour competitor Armani buying their latest perfume. Hope she will like it.

Then we met Sofie and Sara and went for aperitivo at Bar rosa. One of my favourite bars but tonight it was empty. Anyway, I drank a sparkling mineral water for 3euro and ate a lovely buffet for that, good deal ;)


Now I gonna watch a movie with a friend. Tomorrow I'm off but don't know what to do yet, guess it depends on the weather...

Fiat Cafe La Triennale and Old Fashion

Yesteday we first ate at Fiat Cafe La Triennale with Marta, Luca and his friends - the bar is in one of the big art museums here in Milan. We also managed to see that there are some interesting fashion exhibitions going on so now we wanna go back!

After the aperitivo at Fiat Cafe' Johanna and I went to Old Fashion, which is just next door more and less, to meet Sofie and to shake our bums a bit. Nice evening even if Old Fashion did not really show of its best yesterday.

Now we're at Diana Club, the bar at Diana Majestic (sheraton hotel). So beautiful here! Good start for Johanna in Milan.

Time for girl talk all evening long, so much to catch up about. Last time we met was in December when I lived in another country, had another
Job, another boyfriend, other friends and yea a compleatly different life =D

Victoria cafe'

Tonight after work Sofie came to pick me up and we went for drinks in the lovely Victoria Cafe' bar close to Duomo. Such beautiful place but a bit expensive.

We went to the bar, Victoria Cafe', but they also have a restaurant/pizzeria - Victoria Ristorante, which I would love to try as they say it's very nice!

An evening at Lotvs

Tonight after work Stefi and I went out with Luca and his friends and they brough us to the Lotus bar in the Moschino Maison. Such beautiful place, felt like being in hawaii or something, haha. Milan keeps surprising me with very nice places hidden all over the city, I would never had thought an Italian city could offer such mordern and trendy variety like Milan actually do. I'm impressed :)

BBQ at Innvilla'

Yesterday night Mondovela, a sailing club organizing sailing cruises in Italy, Greece and Croatia had their anniversary party at Innvilla' close to San Siro. As Valentina works for this sailing club we went there and enjoyed a lovely bbq with freshly grilled meet and fish, creps, fresh fruit etc.

Met some nice people and had a good evening!

Now I'm off to work :)

Best aperitivo in Milan

...so far!

Yesterday after work I met Norma and her friends for an aperitivo in bar/ristorante Rosa close to where I work. SUCH a nice place. It's the prive' bar of Rosa Grand - Stars Hotel so a very posh and elegant place. But I was mostly impressed of the food buffe!

For whoever doesn't know the aperitivo trend in north Italy I can give you a quick explanation. Lots of bar is having aperitivo/happy hour between 7pm-10;30pm, you buy a drink and then you can pick some snacks from a little food buffe. Sometimes it's just snacks and sometimes in more like a dinner buffe.

Yesterday it's was absolutely a dinner buffe. First they had lots of food; like different warm and cold pastas, pizzas, small calzones, home made ravioli, salads, rice dishes, meat, hams, cheeses etc etc. Then after 10pm they served dessert; different cakes, brownies, panna cotta, ice cream, tiramisu etc. After that they served the fruit; looots of fresh pineapples, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, melon and other fruits.

The cocktails were quite expensive, £12, but common you got a very nice dinner for that price too!

Bar Bianco

Had a nice evening with Una and Sofie. We went to Bar Bianco for cocktails and aperitivo (very nice food). Another very nice bar, located in the heart of Sampione Park. I just love all these bars and clubs that are outside. As neither London och Stockholm are cities where you can trust the weather they don't have that kind of places so I'm very impressed.
